Higher chair height (~17) is more comfortable for bad joints and tall people (or those who use their toilet as an armchair https://youtu.be/YqQ6D0Bu-a8?t=52).
*probably all heights need a footstool anyway

They do make a 1.28 gallon model, and I still need to convert one more toilet to low flush at some point. Maybe I'll give it a try, but what am I missing out on compared to an identical looking American Standard that cost $100+ less?
Edit: ok apparently the directional flow of the water is the key to the Drake. Wirecutter review site likes it a lot.
