This is a really mediocre microwave. It can't fit standard size popcorn bags (my previous 0.7 cu ft could) and even mini bags both burn and leave tons of unpopped kernels.... maybe 40% of the bag goes unpopped. If you use a ceramic bowl, things like instant noodles can't boil while the bowl gets hands-incineratingly hot. It works okay with plastic bowls and microwave meals. Just be sure to give it 30% more time than stated and there's absolutely zero chance of skipping the "stir step" where you wave for 2 minutes, stir, wave for 2. This is NOT a "wave for 5 1/2 (4x 1.3) minutes" machine. Your food will be burned if you do that. My other microwaves (Panasonic and GE) allowed for you to just cook and stir later... and didn't require time adjustments.
Oh, and the clock doesn't keep time at all. Make sure to follow the instructions to disable the child lock.
