I have one of these and I really like it. It's a bit bulky for carrying around, but the lighting is great, never ran out of battery with the smallest 20v max. Great to have during power outages or taking in an exterior building with no lighting. If you have batteries already on hand this is a nice deal.
After seeing the description on Amazon I have to point out it is NOT a rechargeable light, as it says. It uses a rechargeable Dewalt 20v battery. You need a battery and a charger, which is not included.

Havent had many issues, the hook that it has on top is handy as well. I've got one in the basement and one in the garage. My go to hand light when needed.

Same. I'm tempted to get a second one. It's my go to light when I have to turn off power to change a light fixture, light switch, etc... It throws a lot of light and it's a good backup light too.
At one time there were 2 different output levels on the same model number. Anyone know what the output of these are?
the OLD version (TYPE I) only had 500 lumens.
Then a few years ago dewalt moved over to "TYPE II" which is 1000 lumens. I doubt they make the dimmer one alongside the new one, so at some point they sold out of the dimmer ones and then only sold the newer ones. But never purposely sold both.
I may be getting the "TYPE I" stuff backwards, as its a very confusing way dewalt chose to note their 2nd generation of light, google it quickly to confirm, but the new light IS 1000 lumens.
Edit: Its "type 1" for the old one, and "type 12" for the new one, they just add a "2" next to the TYPE 1, which makes it "TYPE 12" which is confusing. I guess TYPE 1.2 is what they mean but meh, look for TYPE 12. Though all new lights should be this, as they switched like 5 years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KC3tSaaBSd0

I can't speak to the type 1 vs type 2 technicality, but I received my light and can confirm that it is 1000 lumens
