Also I didn't see "backpacking" mentioned anywhere in the original description.
My tent I use for backpacking was $200 nearly 10 years ago.
Community Reviews
This FanttikOutdoor Zeta C2 is a budget two person instant dome tent that looks best suited to casual car camping or scout trips rather than backpacking. Setup and takedown are described as easy, and the low price makes it appealing for simple use. The main drawbacks are weight and portability, since it is around 7.5 to 8 plus pounds and the carry bag seems bulky. Repeated takedown also raises durability concerns, with broken parts reported after use.
The carry bag may be bulky, but the tent can still work well for non-backpacking use cases.
The tent can be easy to set up and take down for youth camping trips.
The 6-person version reportedly has been used several times without issues.
The tent's weight can make it unsuitable for backpacking.
The tent's reuse and takedown process can be difficult and may break parts.
The carry bag can be large and bulky, which can make transport inconvenient.
Larger sizes may not qualify for the coupon code mentioned in the deal.
