Plus you can connect a GPU if you already own one through the OCuLink. Could be a powerful and efficient Plex server. May be overkill though.
I just picked up 64GB (2x32GB DDR5 SODIMM 5600) for $350 from facebookmarketplace. I can sell this for $700 or sell my old RAM for $350 (32GB 16x2).
And right now the only hard drive I would buy is a used SK Hynix P041 2TB.
p.s. my RAM that I got for $350 (today FB marketplace) can be purchased at Amazon for $1152.22.

AceMagic was selling their F5A 470 HX with 32GB 8000 soldered and 1TB gen 4 FOR.... drum roll please.... FOR $918 on ebay after coupon code.
To me that was the best deal around if you are OK with 32GB.
Also, this is a bad deal. The AceMagic F5A (same model) with the Ryzen 9 AI 9 HX 370 is $160 less, for the same performance. Within 5%, I'd say.
