Seems like I said never again 10 years ago for not getting a Newegg rebate
I have done hundreds of mail in rebates over the years, and only once did I not (eventually) receive the payment. It was a free-after-rebate black friday deal on blank CD-Rs at Staples, and the no-name CD-R company just disappeared, but Staples made good on it.
The only other issue I had was a rebate initially being rejected because I taped the UPC to the form by taping "over" it and the processor's scanner didn't pick it up clearly as the tape was reflective I guess. That processor had a nice tracking website, and I was able to successfully resubmit.
Does Newegg have a dead-pixel policy on refurbs? Like some number is deemed acceptable and won't qualify as defective?
What credit card has 5% cashback on Newegg?
If you get make sure to check for dead pixels BEFORE submitting the rebate. Newegg seems to have a zero dead pixel policy so you should be able to return it if there are any.
