I've been shopping for a 29 cu. ft. or larger French door fridge for a while and I'm really thrilled to score one for under $700 delivered!
This model has been on my short list and the last time I saw it on sale at the home improvement stores, it was about $1700.
I would pay extra for ball ice, but not $1,000 more. I'll keep using manual ball ice molds for my summer drinks and cocktails, thank you very much.
Just had a super slick deal Kenmore kick the bucket just over 3yrs old... with the price we got that mud room fridge and the price on this one... cant complain too much besides the ol adage they def dont make em like they used to!

I think they use the old type piston compressors that tend to be very durable. Of course, all of the through the door ice makers, etc. usually fail..
More like robbery, if it has a linear compressor.
