Seriously - this is a good point. We buy the zero sugar versions of these drinks because once you see the amount of sugar in some of these you will want to back off.

Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut Soda is a novelty flavor that lands as Dr Pepper with a strong coconut candy or coconut oil note. The taste works for some in small amounts and can feel better as a mixer, but the flavor also draws harsh reactions and can come off nauseating or nasty. The regular version is very high in sugar, around 39 grams per can, so the sweetness is a major concern. A small quantity may be enough, especially if you are watching sugar intake.

  • Shoppers who like very sweet drinks, because the soda packs about 39 grams of sugar per can.

    visaman777drcurtDrJacobie

  • People who want a novelty soda in small servings, because one or two cans is satisfying before the flavor feels overdone.

    xTorquEx

  • Mixers looking for a coconut-tinged cola base, because the zero-sugar version reportedly works better in cocktails than as a standalone drink.

    SKV4m

  • Health-conscious drinkers watching sugar intake, because each can contains about 39 grams of sugar.

    DrJacobievisaman777drcurtEricPost

  • Anyone who wants a regular everyday soda, because the flavor is described as terrible or nasty by multiple tasters.

    Buzkillington808urbach

  • People sensitive to artificial coconut flavor, because it can taste like coconut oil and leave a mildly nauseating aftertaste.

These made me mildly nauseous, it's like drinking dr pepper with coconut oil and a coconut candy dissolved in it. The flavor wasn't tooo bad, but I've done keto diet before and it gave me the sensation that I just drunk coconut oil which I don't particularly enjoy.

I'm not going to grandstand about people's diets but please check the sugar content on these drinks before you buy them and heavily limit yourselves if you buy them. I bought one and tried it, loved it and then saw the sugar content and it feels completely unnecessary to consume that much sugar in one can of anything.

The various Dr Pepper Zero flavors are my favorite sodas now. Those and Spindrift are my carbonated beverages of choice.

I bought the zero to try and it reminded me of Malibu rum. Not great but novel. probably better as a mixer. Won't buy again. I'll stick to Pepsi or coke zero. wish Monster ultras were cheaper

The artificial sugar variations might be worse than the sugar/HFCS ones.

Neither are healthy by any means. Get carbonated water and add a little juice, with a caffeine pill if necessary.

These are good in small quantities. One or two and you're completely over it. 2 12 packs would be overkill.
