I use Costco but sometimes buy these when on sale. Viva can absorb more liquid so you get a little bit more potential use out of each square, and thus the price being generally higher. They are also a little softer. Costco feels more like Bounty or Braun. I think of it like toilet paper comparisons. It's just personal preference. But I guess if money was no object I would buy Viva. However the Costco ones are still great.
