Pretty sure this is from the dishwasher, my set from 5 years ago was pretty much unusable a few months ago from all the cracks and threw most of them out. The 2 large containers I never put in the dish washer still are in good shape

(Target has this item on sale periodically and archenemy Amazon will price match it like clockworks every single time)

My set from Feb 2022, which are hand washed, are still in very good shape. I've also bought the glass version but prefer the plastic Tritan ones for not-off-the-stove-hot food due to much lighter weight and larger interior size (thick glass means less space inside, despite both rated at 3.2 cups).

My first set of Brilliance lasted for years. My second set were noticeably thinner and lighter. I don't have a dishwasher and never heat in plastics. These newer generation cracked within 6 months to one year.
