Amusing game and very Saints Row 3 style, short-ish campaign, 5 hours maybe. But honestly felt about right. There is a bunch of side stuff and extra missions you can do to really pad that out to 20+ hours.

FWIW, this game was a ***** to get working on the Steam Deck. I never got the Steam version working that came with a SR bundle, years later GOG or Epic had a giveaway and I finally got that one running but that still took some effort.

*you could always remote play it via a different PC but I tend to pickup and putdown games really often so the idea of leaving my gaming rig running for the entire evening doesn't fit my use case.

I did get it working after a bit of trial and error via GOG (if memory service it was a Prime giveaway) using Heroic Launcher. Played through the entire campaign like that as well. If I recall correctly I did have a few random crashes but the game auto saved so often it wasn't a huge pain since they weren't often and I did not lose any progress.

If you have a media server with a decent GPU, you can run a VM with GPU passthrough. I do this for cloud gaming via Steam Remote Play.

Thats a great idea however 99% of the games I play run perfectly fine (for my standards) on my Steam Deck Only outliers are games like this that just won't run natively since I'm not playing anything that is usually highly dependent on Windows.

*FWIW, just bought a used Lenovo Legion Go on FBMP for $300, that should deliver today...hopefully that will bridge the gap for me in the odd times Linux doesn't work. (I also have no interest in dual booting Windows on my SD)

More power to you and keep playing games ! I waste too much time in the "how" phase instead of just playing.

I know the feeling, especially with retro handhelds. Setting them up / perfecting them (not playing) seems to be the main hobby.
