Tempting but the reviews for this are brutal. I have two older Frame TVs. The panels can't be trusted but Amazon reviews show the ads and UI are awful. Not sure if an ATV makes it a moot point and dropping a G just to find out isn't exactly my cup of tea.

I have an echo show 5. You basically can't turn off ads but for the screen size and $40 price. I could tolerate it.

However, this is a freaking TV. Unless Amazon specifically says there is a no-ad version, chances are you will be buried with ads that you simply can not turn off.

Only no ads TV I know of(and I own) is the Hisense Canvas TV. But I do not know how long that gonna last but I'm optimistic since it's Android TV OS

For this price you're better off getting the Hisense canvas 65" s7 for the same price or lower

You can still get the TCL frame tv from Best Buy 65" $699 - No ads (Google TV)!

I'm never buying another Amazon TV again. A few years ago I bought one of the Fire Omni TVs, which was supposed to be their higher end model at the time. It was fine at first, but after only a couple years the UI got bogged down and laggy. No big deal, that's happened on other smart TVs I've owned - I just plug in an Apple TV or Roku box when that happens and it extends the useful life for several more years. However, the Amazon TV refuses to play nice with an external box. Sometimes it will work like it's supposed to. Sometimes you'll turn on the box and it will turn on the TV, but it won't switch to the correct HMDI input, leaving in the Fire TV UI. Sometimes it randomly loses audio connection with the soundbar. Sometimes it refuses to work at all.

I've never had these problems with any other TV OS/UI. I suspect they're trying to force you to sue the Fire TV OS, which sucks.
