Costco item price by volume is slightly lower with non-microwavable, microplastic generating lids so I guess it depends on what you mean by a better deal. Better for wallet or better for health to consume food out of?

The lid of* these Rubbermaid's also have plastic and rubber in it. Plus the description says only the bottom container is oven safe not the lid.So comparing apples to apples I feel Costco deal is better health and wallet wise!

One day we will have a thread here on SD that isn't infiltrated by the Kirkland cult; but that day isn't today, sadly.

I bought two of these at target. They are ok. They are quite bulky if you use them to put your lunch in and put it into a backpack.

I got several of the 3.2 cup and 2 cup brilliance glass containers back in 2022 when the 4 packs (8 piece, 4 sets) were on sale for like $15. Definitely been my fiancee and I's favorite containers. The 3.2 and 2 cup ones are perfect if we wanna take lunch to work or portion out leftovers. That and since they're glass they've never kept any smells or stained, and it's nice that between the sizes we currently have, the lids are the same. Everytime they come out of the washer they're crystal clear, but that could be more on the dishwasher than the containers. Either way, when I'm in the market for containers or if these glass brilliance containers are at a good price, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

I was looking for glass containers just a few weeks ago and ended up trying these out. They turned out to be great quality. Glass lid and glass bottom. There's a little stopper feature in the lid that I've come to appreciate to let off pressure before opening the lid. It was $33 for a 5 pack just 3 weeks ago, although now I see it's at $36.

The lid of this deal is microwave safe. The lid of the Costco deal is not microwave safe.

I would rather not have any lid on my food when microwaving as this deal lid also has rubber and plastic in it
