Please qualify why you think this screen is 'the worst". It's not a TN screen. Are you nitpicking about it being 300 nits?

Its standout feature is the expansive 18" WUXGA (1920x1200) IPS anti-glare display, offering a 16:10 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color accuracy for sharp visuals, smooth motion, and immersive viewing. The large screen is ideal for productivity workflows, content consumption, and split-screen multitasking.

"Banned" is a bit extreme. SSD's without a DRAM cache work just fine for most people, and they never know what they don't have. IF you do a lot of writing LARGE files to your SSD, having one with a DRAM cache will make those writes appear to be faster since the DRAM cache is an intermediary bucket of high speed storage to temporarily hold your data while it's being written to the slower SSD NAND chips. Let's say you want to write a 10GB file to your drive...with a SSD with cache, the write seems to happen fast, and is of consistent speed throughout the write process. On a SSD without cache, the write will appear fast for a short time, then it looks to slow down as the SSD chips themselves cannot keep up with the high transfer rates of modern SSD's.

SSD's with cache have a RAM chip on them that acts as the cache. The smaller 2230 SSD's (postage stamp sized instead of the "stick of gum" size) don't have room on the tiny circuit board for the extra RAM chip and typically do not have cache.

Yeah not sure wtf that poster is talking about. Aside from my MacBook Air and Pro, it's the nicest non-OLED laptop screen I've used. It's not a touch screen but the matte like screen and 144hz on windows feels buttery. This is a great price, got this for 899 but the 16GB config
