Shop type vacuum. I have cordless Ridgid shop vac that I use and a Stick Shark converted to run on Milwaukee batteries that i use around the house they work well in the vehicles. I recently picked up a small one like this in a different brand that just didn't suck as well as you wont it, simply too small for the job but left it in the girlfriend's car anyway. It works for dog hars on leather and dash like plastic and vinyl but not so well on cloth or carpet unless something sitting right on top and light.

got mine and it won't turn on. charged for 12 hours and its still blinking blue. when I disconnect and try turning it on, it flashes red. can't seem to charge it.

charged for another 24 hours and now it works. it still blinks blue, like it's never fully charged. but at least it turns on when i unplug it.
as far as vacuum functionality, its ok. its good for spot cleaning and cleaning out cup holder and such. its not really powerful enough to do anything with carpeting.

i'll keep it, but i won't love it.
