I wonder if these are a little thicker. The Brilliance containers I bought were thin and cracked within 6 months. They are thinner and nothing like the first generation.

The issue is the dishwasher and microwave. I don't care what Rubbermaid says, if you want these to last you absolutely can't put them in the microwave or dishwasher for any amount of time. The heat ruins them with just a few cycles. It's a huge downside to an otherwise very aesthetic product.

I never once microwaved or used in dishwasher and my Brilliance all cracked .
