I use this all the time at autocross events and airing up anyone's tires at the house, so much faster than hooking up the big compressor and messing with the air hose! Decent price. You could also go down to the M12 model and I'm sure be fine, but this one has higher specs.

I use this all the time at autocross events and airing up anyone's tires at the house, so much faster than hooking up the big compressor and messing with the air hose! Decent price. You could also go down to the M12 model and I'm sure be fine, but this one has higher specs.

i have the m12. it does the trick for topping off tires for our big vehicles and inflating tires for things like bicycles and motorcycles. the one caveat i tell people is that it is louuuuuuud as hell.

I originally bought an M12 years ago. At the time it got the job done. Was way more useful with a 6ah battery than 2 or 3s. I bought a Dewalt a couple years later. It was noticeably faster than the M12. I still use it for smaller tires but the M18 blows them all away for bigger tires.

Honestly I'd be shocked to see another bundle deal for this and a battery in the $200 range. Home Depot has been giving out terrible Milwaukee deals lately. Can't help to wonder if the Home Depot prices are a result of global turmoil, or if them and TTI are just price gouging at this point.

Bought this a few years ago. Well worth the money. No hoses. No cords. Much faster than the 12v plugins. 4th most used Milwaukee tool I own after the drill, ratchet and sawsall. Even used it to regrip my golf clubs (if you know, you know).

You can still do the hack on this with the 6.0 batteries and come out $20 cheaper after returning the batteries.

I don't know if it's just mine, but mine always comes up short when airing up my tires. This thing will pause each time to take a steady reading, then it'll start pumping, the display will show it exceeding the set psi, then pause pumping to read, which will show like 5-7 psi less than what it showed while pumping, only for it to finally think it got close, shut off, sit for a second then still read 3-4 psi lower than what I set it to. Not sure if everyone's is like that or if mine is defective. If yours doesn't do this let me know so I can try file a warranty claim on it.

FWIW, my m12 inflater doesn't do this, it happily chugs along to the psi I set without needing to constantly pause to take readings, and actually stops when I hit the psi I set. Only downside is it's slower and there's no memory function for pressures you typically use.

Driving out to do the hack is, in my opinion, a waste of time and gas to save $20.

I found the a solution I use these: Locking Tire Air Chuck,Brass Tire Inflation Hose Adapter,Tire Nozzle With Tire Valve Threads,Unscrewed Connection Converted To Locking Connection,No Air Leakage On Chuck Air Compressor Pump Clip they are $6 for two of them they are great.

I did this. I just didn't pick up the batteries. In 3 days they were automatically refunded. It's even better with the military discount.

Not so fast. The M18 is a 1 trick pony (and does it very very well). But take the Dewalt inflator for example...that unit may not inflate as fast, but comes with the 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter and also blows up high capacity items like air beds/etc (which Milwaukee can't do). If money wasn't an issue for me, I'd have the Milwaukee dedicated for tires in the garage, but I would always have the DeWalt in my trunk.
