Does this apply to a boat? I want an ac for a small 23 foot boat. It's definitely not sealed well but just want to reduce humidity etc if I sleep over

The dual hose ones suck air in from outside to cool the hot condenser coils and then blows that back outside. No hot air enters your room this way. The single hose units sucks air in from your cooled down room to cool the coils and blows that outside. Consequently your room will have negative pressure and hot air from outside will seep in to replace it.

Single hose ones inherently create a negative pressure in the space because it's blowing air from inside the space to the outside. This results in air from outside being sucked into the space through the cracks in doors, windows, etc. if the outside air is humid, it will be entering your indoor space. Highly recommend a dual hose.

So I live in a house that has a backyard patio converted into a kitchen and now the old kitchen is a big living room....I want to cool down the new kitchen area as the air conditioning isn't "strong" enough to blow air into kitchen vent. I do feel some cold air coming through the vent but it's not enough to cool it down. So my question is, is this product suitable for what I need for my setup. I have a sliding door in between the living and kitchen so I was thinking to plug this up and vent it from where the sliding door is while the a/c is on and hopefully that will work? Am I thinking through this right? Any advice is helpful. Thanks.
