Community Reviews
This Amazon pet promo is mainly useful for stocking up on qualifying food and litter while earning a $30 credit for later Amazon purchases. The credit applies only to items sold and shipped by Amazon, not third party sellers or gift cards, and the qualifying list can change during the promo. Some items disappear or never show up, and the credit arrives by email after about 30 days, so it is easy to miss. Order splitting can also prevent the trigger, making it a handy deal if the qualifying items and shipping line up.
Common Questions (5)
Not always. The promo ad mentions brands like Blue Buffalo, but the qualifying-item search may show none, and the item list can shrink over time as products are removed.
Yes. The qualifying purchase must be sold and shipped by Amazon, not a third-party seller, and gift cards are excluded. The credit can then be used on other Amazon purchases.
The reimbursement is sent by email about 30 days later, so it is easy to miss if you are not watching for it. Saving the qualification notice helps if you need to follow up.
Yes for some items. The promo has been reported to work on three large Arm & Hammer Platinum litter boxes and on multiple bags of Iams kitten food, depending on what is currently listed as qualifying.
Yes. If Amazon splits the order into separate shipments or billings, the promo may not trigger even when the order initially shows as qualified. Keeping the items shipping together and screenshotting the qualification notice can help if you need support.

Just make sure since the reimbursement is by email so you have to keep an eye out plus not forget 30 days later that it's coming. That's kind of awkward. I bet a lot of people will miss it - 30 days is a long way to wait and has a lot of shit that can go on in your life
But it's like a "free bag of Iams"
when I buy three ultimately

Had to spend too long with customer service to get it done and bozo CSR tried to make it sound like it was my fault and he was doing me a favor.
Got the notice when I ordered that the order qualified for the promo. Make sure to screen shot that.
I'd love to see what the true payout is on Amazon promos for "glitches" like this. Betting after 30 days that many people forget they're supposed to get it.
