I still haven't played the first one yet- worth buying the deluxe edition?
Put together these are the most immersive narrative medival rpg's I've ever played. Basically Skyrim with better stories and no magic and about the same bugs. I love them and I want more realistic historic fiction games.
Deluxe edition is a must for 1 and 2 is very good dlc but not quite the wow factor 1 had for me.
Biggest critique is the first game doesn't explain how important learning master strike is. Combat is very difficult without it and it limits you to swords for easier combat. Archery is just very difficult in the first game to the point of being a challenge mode run but polished off in 2. I never tried it with a reticle overlay though... might be usable with that in 1.
