got this from a past slickdeal, it's fine and I do continue to use it, but be warned: it emits a quiet but still noticeable high-pitched squealing sound when charging a phone. and it's not just my unit, other amazon reviews mention it too!

Never had that issue on mine?

I have a separate issue where the watch charge sometimes gets slightly disconnect and doesn't charge unless you push it back in
