What kind of possibilities are we looking at for this to be worthwhile? Kroger doesn't tend to have the friendliest DD pricing given that anything worth buying at their asking price is only good with at least two coupons added or a buy n get n deal that DD doesn't honor/expose for orders. (if they did I'd be getting a lifetime supply of Dr. P with the B3G3)
I'm not certain it will be the same for this grocery promo, but ... FYI for those wanting to maximize the deal by using a DD gift card it wouldn't give me my Chase Preferred DashPass benefit unless I paid with the Chase card. So I couldn't use that $100 for $75 from the recent DashPass promo on my Cheesecake Factory order this last weekend. It added the $6.99 delivery fee plus the extra fees that DashPass members usually don't pay! So they closed that trick for extra savings!

Not sure what's going on with DoorDash. I also got the extra fee added on an order last month that was new - it wasn't the delivery fee but a "service fee". However, I was able to use the GCs to pay and use Chase credit. You have to make sure the Chase card is set as the default, even if the GC is used to pay. Today, when I created a test basket of groceries, I was again able to "pay" with GC and get Chase benefits, and I don't see a service fee added.
