Can this extend coverage a few hundred feet to a parking space? I tried the WiFi 6 outdoor version and kept getting dropped/reconnected signals.

Depends on your main device and what's between the 2 devices. But a few hundred feet might be a stretch if it's not ideal situation - and the main device isn't as good. If you can run a patch cable out to this device and protect it from the elements, it would definitely do it. But honestly your current one might work using a wired backhaul too.
