I've been playing since day 1 and it's better than ever. Not many 4 year old games are providing significant free DLC's multiple times a year. For the potential hours (I have an embarrassing amount of hours) $40 is a solid price even with how old this release is.

The 25th Anniversary Digital Deluxe Edition is also $39 on the PlayStation Store if you have PS+

This is what's waiting for us in the all digital future. I bought this game from the ps store for 28.99 in 2024. And now it $11 more?

Yes in 2024, the ps4 version went down to $20. The ps5 is always $10 more since release

I can let my buddy borrow it and resell it when I'm done. I own that control, that's why physical can be argued to be better.

Nintendo will be trucking along with the keycards and the all digital will push many either to PC or back to PC in my case. The PS5 was good enough for me performance-wise at this point in life it suited me well but if it's all digital, I'll go back to PC. No reason for me to stay walled in without any options

Keycards aren't optimal, BUT at least you still have ownership and can resell and purchase... At least as long as the servers are up. I'll take that over the nightmare that awaits for Sony customers.

It's amazing how little these customers know about their own customerbase. Atari made their mistakes and never recovered. Here's hoping Sony crashes and burns.

Back in February target was ymmv clearance out games I got it 22$ I was really looking for Astro bot for a similar price and never found it. Gt7 is a good game , offers online support even tho it's a couple years old and an all around good game. I've spent 40$ on much worst. IMO physical is better you get resell value , you can loan it to a buddy and so on!

So many hours poured into this game. I'd say it's worth whether if you're casual or an avid car enthusiast
