Hot take: The cheapest possible power supply you can buy is probably not the best thing to put in your pc.
cheap power supplies served me well except EVGA official refurb where they sent outright defective units, then another defective one to replace it, was a pita to deal with. Avoid EVGA, shitty QC and customer service

This is a very good deal. It's hard getting a reputable non-fire hazard unit for $35. For $60-70, you can get nice things like a PCCooler unit, but not in this price category. This is perfect for budget PCs in the $300-600 range.
True.... especially a gaming PC unless you really confirm the power draws. Minimum 850w for me so I don't need to worry about going up to 5080 GPU.
The "Bronze" rating isn't a quality tier. It just means that regardless of usage, it will convert at least 80% of the power to DC. The rest gets dumped as heat.
The only reason not to go with an 80Plus Bronze when you get to high power draws is the conversion efficiency dropoff.
You'll be converting more energy to heat and using more power to do so.
But in all practicality, it makes way more sense to get an 80Plus Bronze with a much higher wattage rating than needed over an 80Plus Gold where you're constantly running near load if you're just running a budget build.
Even higher 80Plus tiers benefit from a buffer, which is usually between 50% and 80% load.

FYI, the Intel Omen 45L computer's 1200W PSU, it is NOT Modular! All of the wires are connected inside of the PSU, OMG lol.
I was surprised as f to see it when I pulled the power supply of my latest Omen 45L, no wonder the upgrade fee is so cheap during order. It doesn't even have the 6pin old video card layout because the computer came with the 12v6 type. So I guess I must use a newer GPU with the PSU (5070 and up).
I remember reading somewhere that people said HP's PSU were made by certain brand, I always saw them as "HyperX" on the PSU itself but they were the AMD systems, on the Intel it came with some janky ass silver stainless steel looking instead of anodized black finish and no branding PSU exterior and then shocked to see all of the wires funnel into a round hole and not modular!!!
