True.... especially a gaming PC unless you really confirm the power draws. Minimum 850w for me so I don't need to worry about going up to 5080 GPU.

This PSU is great for something like the AMD BC-250. It's double the recommended 300w PSU

cheap power supplies served me well except EVGA official refurb where they sent outright defective units, then another defective one to replace it, was a pita to deal with. Avoid EVGA, shitty QC and customer service

This isn't the cheapest possible (at MSRP) but also it's an unusually good PSU for a non-blue chip brand.
