I have 4 other Tilswall sprayer models including the slightly lower end version of this without the side fill port that also uses a DeWalt battery and it works surprisingly well. I used it to spray PlastiDip on my car's emblems and it sprayed and atomized that thick paint fine. Even their $20 corded spray gun sprayed PlastiDip decently well. If you're spraying really thick latex paint you'll want to thin it with about 50% water. PlastiDip is around the consistency of heavy whipping cream, buttermilk, or maybe even a bit thicker, so use that to better judge the max thickness this sprayer can handle well.

I'm hesitant to trust a little battery operated HVLP with thick, heavy paints like SW Duration or Emerald

I posted that deal, and I had no idea there was a code for this sprayer. At this price I'm in for one.

I feel the spray would get uneven when the battery starts to get weaker

One possible important review mentions each time trigger to spray needs repressurization. This ends up in wasting paint.

It will, but it's more noticeable with thicker paints and not thinner ones. Its easy to see it start to happen while you're spraying so just swap to a fresh battery when the spray quality drops past that minimum quality spray you find acceptable.

Thanks! I also looked at this last night but my procrastination paid off! Pulled the trigger. It is just so hard to find the coupon entry sometimes! One false move and you bought at the original price.

I run water on my 25$ grade one for cleaning, cleaning has been less of a hassle than I thought for the wood oil type things I used it with. Cleaning brushes as well can be more work.

How's the spray quality/volume of this one compared to the shark800? I think you mentioned owning that one in a previous thread.

I realize battery/all in one vs. separate motor and plug in are different beasts, but curious as to how dramatic the quality difference is. Been considering both.

Voltage drop should not be an issue. It uses DeWalt Lithium Batteries. Lithium batteries supply constant voltage until they cutoff so the sprayer should remain consistent until it cuts off. I don't personally own this, but am basing my comment on the fact that it uses lithium batteries.
