no more expensive knives for me! as a home cook, not a professional, if I use a knife for an hour a day or even less, I don't need or want a knife I have to pamper. I buy cheap ones, I use the heck out of them, sharpen them often and they go in the dishwasher. Then after a few years, I get new ones for $15-25 for a set of knives. they cut stuff, I clean up, people eat good food. Unless I were a professional and cutting food for 6+ hours a day, these are a waste for me. Been there, done that, switched to the cheeeeeeap ones.
