So other than it being a decent printer, why do you think it's not a good printer? I know two people who have the K2 Plus with material changer printers and both seem quite happy with them. I haven't used one but I do think my K1 Max is rather good but I've also only printed PLA due to the printer being in the house where I can't isolate fumes.

Despite starting with an Ender 3 V2 myself, I've written off Creality printers after seeing reports of officially branded K1 upgrade accessories frying people's printers, and Creality telling people, "your printer is out of warranty; buy a new printer."
I went on to build a Voron Trident, and haven't looked back. No vendor lock-in, coupled with having complete control over the printer with no manufacturer software lockout BS is a beautiful combination.

Oh, and you can still print PETG without worrying about fumes, that is mostly a concern with ABS.

I'm not in love with Creality though the refurb K1 max I have seems good. I had really good luck with a "for parts" Ender 3 S1 Pro that was deeply discounted from their ebay store. The printer was new in box and worked fine. I didn't put many hours on it before sending it off to someone who was thinking about getting into printing. They had good luck with it and that convinced them to get the K2 Plus.
Anyway, I found my FF 5M to be more likeable than my K1 mostly because it was easier to change the material. However, having watched the early K1 reviews I make sure to not open the door past 100* for fear of shattering the glass. I've thought about doing some aftermarket/3D print hinges so the door can open 180*.
