I had a soundpeats air3 and they were one of the most useless headphones I've ever owned. They would always discharge in the case. If I didn't specifically charge them before I planned to use them, they were almost always dead. Sometimes, it would be just a couple days and the buds and the case were drained. I know these aren't the 3's, but that's enough for me to not risk it knowing there are so many reputable brands out there.

I did some research and the sound quality is good. The biggest complaint people have for this is the low battery life (3 hrs when LDAC and ANC is on).

I still use another pair of Soundpeats. They're some of my favorite headphones. I've had nothing but positive experiences with this brand over the years. I think I've probably bought two or three pairs.

It's a decent budget brand and it has some pretty good codecs there. I have another newer pair from another (Chinese) manufacturer and I'm impressed by the nearly lossless codecs. If I needed another pair of headphones, I'd be in for one. I'm curious as to how good the audio quality from the microphones is for the calls.

fwiw soundpeats appears to be one of the brands heavily hyped by youtube influencers and don't really deliver on quality or value, even after all these years. sure $43 is cheap AF but if they don't even last for a bit or have decent quality then it's still wasted

Just like with any lossless option, it depends on the material, the playback equipment, and the ears. I know people who can't tell the difference between a MP3 and Flac even with well-recorded music on a great system.

For myself, I think it's a very nice feature and improves almost all music. But I also think that effort is wasted here. I know some people clearly like this brand and maybe this model changes the formula, but Soundpeats have always been subpar headphones every time I've tried them.

There's a very popular YouTube influencer who maintains this brand is the best in the business.

But this influencer also maintains that which Bluetooth codec you use doesn't make a bit of difference, either.

Idiot.
