Unfortunately, the title is incorrect. It's not "Renewed", it's used. This is an ongoing trend with many resellers.
If a third-party reseller (in this case, scAmazon) says "renewed" (or any euphemistic phrasing of the sort), but doesn't explicitly say what they've done -- then all they've performed is a power test, a wipe down of the casing, and a system reset. (And some places don't even bother to do a good job at that!)
No components were replaced, no batteries refreshed, etc. In other words, NOTHING was actually refurbished or renewed.
Descriptors such as "Very Good" or "Excellent" or "Open Box" are utterly meaningless and vague enough to suggest pretty much anything. Intentionally ambiguous.
(Don't be surprised if they sneak in machines that really ought to be in a lower tier. Assume any accessories (power supply, cabling, etc) are third-party or counterfeit…or missing outright. Amazon is KNOWN for being chock-full of counterfeits!)
You might get a device that's been personally owned, used once a month gently ….or a beat-up jet-setter pair of earbuds. Sight Unseen. Good luck!!!
