Note that the model depicted is an mdv-107 as there is no marlin logo. Amazon still lists it as an mdv-106.

Replica of the Rolex GMT-Master Pepsi. If you want to be like Magnum PI, wearing one of these would be a good start. Needless to say, I'm in for one.

If memory serves, the Marlin is to signify that it is an actual dive watch with an appropriate 100m depth rating. If it lacks that marlin, it is just a "Waterproof watch"

Nope, the non-Marlin Duro has the exact same specs. The 107 doesn't have it for overseas legal reasons.

Once sized it looks pretty decent. Getting the link pins out was tough. Links are not solid so the sound of its movement is kind of "thin." It also feels stiff compared to other nicer bracelets because the links don't fully articulate - they have a sort of limit that only allows so tight of a radius. I upgraded to the Islander #BRAC-74 bracelet after a while. Costs as much as the watch but worth it imo.

I just got mine, you aren't kidding about the pins, hardest watch I've ever done, I thought I was going to break it. The videos online make it look easy, it is not. You have to bend (unfold) the links slightly to get them out.
