Community Reviews
This 22 inch Blackstone is a portable propane griddle that works well for camping, tailgates, and smaller home setups. The newer omnivore version is described as heating better after a good preheat, and the stand makes it more versatile than the Costco cooktop only version. Capacity is the main tradeoff, with some finding it fine for a family of four or even larger batches, while others say the legs feel flimsy and the surface is better suited to smaller groups. A practical compact option if portability matters more than deck duty.
Campers cooking for a small group, because the 22-inch surface is easy to take on a trip and works well for fast meals.
Families of four making everyday meals, because the griddle has enough room for a household without needing a larger setup.
Backyard cooks who want a portable griddle, because the lighter camping build still performs well and the stand keeps it off a table.
Hosts cooking in batches for larger gatherings, because it can handle repeated rounds of burgers, fried rice, and stir-fry.
Hosts feeding a big cookout crowd, because the 22-inch cooking surface can feel too small once you move beyond a few people.
Smash-burger cooks chasing a hard sear, because the maximum heat may depend on the newer omnivore plate and enough preheating.
Back-deck cooks who want a sturdier permanent griddle, because the legs can feel flimsy on a fixed outdoor setup.
