I bought this two weeks ago at Amazon. I chatted with support and got $49.90 back instead of returning and rebuying.

This Switch 2 choose your game bundle lowers the console price by about $49, with the effective savings landing around $80 if you pick Mario Kart World or about $70 with the other games. The bundle includes a code in the box to redeem on the eShop, not a physical cartridge, and Amazon Day shipping can add extra cash back. Checkout and coupon behavior is inconsistent, so the final price may depend on whether the promo applies.

  • Switch 2 buyers who want the bundled game right away, because the checkout discount makes the console plus game land around the standalone game price.

    slickstocksorlanthLaserBangtail1964thinktwicebeforebuy

  • Deal hunters using Amazon Day and a Prime card, because the extra shipping discount and cashback can nearly cover tax.

    cruffing409BerdDogPhilipJpoover

  • Shoppers who want to avoid extra hassle, because this bundle is simpler than stacking gift cards or hunting for a separate console-and-game setup.

    natehueythinktwicebeforebuy

  • Parents buying two consoles for gifts, because the bundle still nets out about the same as buying the console without the game.

    EasyRhino

  • Buyers waiting for a deeper discount, because the price may rise in a couple of months and the current savings are only about $20 to $30.

    HomeBrewRunner78slickstocksLaserBangtail1964

  • Shoppers expecting a smooth promo checkout, because the coupon can disappear or show as invalid at checkout.

    UniqueRock8780UranuXnatehuey

  • Players who want a physical game cartridge, because the bundle delivers a download code instead of a cart.

    Harmonica

  • Gamers who are unsure about the included launch title, because one of the bundled games is described as a disappointment.

So it's technically only $30 off if you choose Mario Kart World. It's $20 off if you choose the other games.

Thank you! I didn't look and may have missed the $49.01 discount showing. Refreshed page and it's there on product page and at checkout.

It is either a free $80 Mario Kart World or a free $70 for the other two games.

Price is supposedly going up in a couple of months so seems like now or never. Also got 6% cash back for using Amazon Prime card and selecting a different delivery day.

Thanks. It worked for me. I selected Amazon Day shipping to get another 2% off. If you don't see that option, you might have to adjust your Amazon Day to a different day of the week.

Outstanding timing, thanks, I literally needed to buy two of these for birthday presents. (purchase limit seems to be two). I was thinking of buying it without the game bundle to save money but this nets out to about the same price.
