This Switch 2 choose your game bundle lowers the console price by about $49, with the effective savings landing around $80 if you pick Mario Kart World or about $70 with the other games. The bundle includes a code in the box to redeem on the eShop, not a physical cartridge, and Amazon Day shipping can add extra cash back. Checkout and coupon behavior is inconsistent, so the final price may depend on whether the promo applies.
The effective discount can be improved with Amazon Prime-card cashback and Amazon Day delivery options.
The bundle provides a redeemable code in the box that downloads one of three Switch 2 games from the eShop.
Amazon support can reportedly refund the price difference after purchase without requiring a full return and rebuy.
The deal can net out close to buying two consoles separately when purchasing multiple units for gifts.
Coupon or promo codes can fail at checkout, including cases where the code disappears or shows as invalid.
Price-matching via chat can reportedly be denied, and refund timelines may be unreliable unless shoppers verify status.
The discount amount varies by bundled game, with Mario Kart World showing a larger effective reduction than the other options.
Mario Kart World has reportedly disappointed some buyers after choosing the other bundle options.

I recommend getting the other two as well. DKB is my favorite 3d "platformer" since the Mario Galaxy games, and with MKW getting free DLC (more KO races) it's a no brainer. Wait for a sale though. Takes the sting out of that price tag.

When filtering on current US specific games, there are 98 Switch 2 games at this time (7/14/26). Of those, only 35 have physical game on cartridge release. The rest are code in box or key cards. You can expect this pattern of the majority of games to be digital only to continue. Additional note - only 18 of the 98 Switch 2 games are Nintendo specific.
One might also consider the average Nintendo Switch 2 game cost - between 60 and 80 dollars standard, with Nintendo exclusives touching the higher end of that range.
Two switch 2 consoles for your kid where each gets their own Pokemon Pokopia game? 900 + tax for the consoles (until they raise prices in a couple of months per Nintendo's threat), 140 + tax for the two games. Oh, and even if you get those as physical releases, it's just a game key card.
I'm only posting this for awareness and consideration when investing so much money. Enjoy
