But the old Cheap Basterd within me remembers a time not too long ago when you could get 4 cases for $10 frequently via local supermarkets. Guess those days are long gone...

Diet Dr Pepper is a stock up soda deal with a distinctive 23 flavor taste, and the checkout math lands around $9 for two 12 packs with Subscribe and Save and free shipping. The price can get even lower with a business account, and the deal math sometimes includes a bottle deposit fee. The main drawback is shipping quality, with reports of damaged cans and expired stock arriving from January and February 2026. A decent value if the shipment is fresh and intact.
The checkout math shows a $9.10 grand total for two 12-packs with Subscribe & Save and free shipping before tax.
Diet Dr Pepper uses a unique blend of 23 flavors, which can make it taste different from other diet colas.
The deal math can work out to about $0.93 per liter after Subscribe & Save and tax, which supports a summer stock-up use case.
A business account reportedly prices the 12-pack at $5 and includes Diet Dr Pepper ZERO as well.
Subscribe & Save purchases can be risky because damaged shipments may be returned without reshipment, with only a refund offered.
Some deliveries reportedly arrive damaged, including a case where a can burst in transit.
Some orders reportedly include expired cans, including cans expired in late January 2026 that tasted very expired.
Some items reportedly arrive expired and may not be eligible for return, with refunds issued instead after tasting bad.
