This is a good deal if you need one. At some point in the distant past I went on a spree of buying tools and especially Dremel tools so I would have whatever was needed for hobbies and jobs around the house. Lots of them have been useful but the oscillating tool is the one that I have never needed in something like 10 or 15 years. I'ld say don't buy one on spec, and just look for the current best deal if/when you need it. They do turn up cheap like this relatively often.

That's a very attractive price, but it's the 120v version, NOT the cordless version.

Not used to seeing common sense around here! It's always, "buy buy BUY!" followed by regret.

I almost impulse bought this on price / discount alone, but when I read your comment, I remembered that I already impulse bought a REALLY nice Fein brand one because it was on clearance like 12 years ago, and I think the only time I've used it is when I lent it to a friend. My wallet thanks you.

I impulse bought one. I may never need it, but if I do I'll be happy I bought it. And since it's corded I ain't gotta worry about charging a battery. And with the 5% neighbors discount it came down to $37.99.

On the other end of the spectrum, my Ryobi multi-tool is probable my #3 most used cordless tool for handy-man type tasks. Granted, I am not sure that would be the case if it was corded like this Dremel is.

I sooth my regret by buying other things I don't need. It's a vicious cycle.
Is this the support meeting or is that down the hall?
