my costco has cooling blankets on sale for $13.99 until 7-19-2026. I think they are 60 x 70 , so sort of small

I just bought one today, haven't tried it yet.

I understand how a tech shirt works because they are close fitting, thin, do not absorb sweat like cotton and allow it to evaporate. Not sure how a comforter would pull off the same made of basically the same materials.

Cooling blankets/comforters never really keep me cool, many are polyester and trap heat. Probably better to get a cotton comforter or light quilt in the summer, much more breathable (so you don't wake up in a pool of your own sweat πŸ˜…)

They don't cool shit. And because they're vacuum packed you can't fit them back in the packaging when you return them

Please don't sleep with nylon or polyester on your bed anywhere. Besides the whole plastic thing, synthetics are only superior for active wear because of how they work. Cotton is king for bedtime.

I have a similar one, it kinda works? cool initially but warms up pretty fast though when I have a fan on the slight breeze helps draw away heat a lot better
do you think its worth it?

It's amazing how the first few comments are always some generic BS hype message since the widespread adoption of LLMs.
Yes, the fist 3 comments are bots - it's funny they must think we're all idiot consumers who don't notice πŸ˜‚

5 out of 24 comments are bots, yet this has 80+ thumbs up?!?
If there are bots commenting, than surely all of those πŸ‘πŸ½ must be from real people, right?! 🀣😭

The bots are gaslighting us.

The code failed for me at first (not able to apply error), but when I tried it again it seemed to apply just fine.

Thank the gods.
I was beginning to think I was the only one.
This should be obvious, so I really am curious:
Is it a comfort thing - like a weighted blanket, or padding you tuck between limbs that prompts someone to use a blanket when it's not winter?
