Haven't personally played the specific version of any of the games here, but unless you know your nephew likes Donkey Kong or Pokemon, I would go with the safe option of Mario Kart. That game was made for all ages and gamers in mind.

Appreciate it. I was leaning toward Mario Kart for the same reason. Plus I figure it's something he can play with friends right away instead of it being a solo game.

Pokopia is just too great of a game. I loved DK bonanza and my kids adored it, however it's just shorter. Pokopia is a 100+ hour game and really don't need a lot of Pokemon knowledge to play and kids can skip dialogue okay because it has pictures. Mario kart is the safe option and was fun too. Honestly, can't go wrong.

It's a code that comes with the console for either of the games, so he will be able to choose the game he wants.
