Same. Might buy this and test the two to see which is better. Might return or give the other one away to a family member.

Edit: Just realized this one doesn't have the heat function.

Doesn't it also exclude the thigh area?

Yes. I have multiple athletes young (8th and 11th grade) and middle aged (40s) in my family and friend circles who use them for track, baseball, tennis... and they swear up and down by them. Cincom owes me a nice kickback because after I purchased the full-leg ones for my wife back in late fall on a $140 deal, I bet I've convinced about 10 other folks to purchase them. Don't know of anyone who regrets the decision. Even have older relatives who just use the shorter ones like these on occasion to help with blood flow as well. But, if your sports involve the quads and hamstrings and you can afford something closer to 125, I'd wait and spring for the full-leg versions.

Here's the pros and cons. I also own the Costco version from Sharper Image that is a full leg boot.

Pros:
Nice form factor. Easier to get on/off. Compression is decent but not as powerful as the Costco version.

Cons/
No manual mode. You're limited to the pre-programmed modes. Cords are shorter so an extension cord will come in handy. Cannot adjust the duration and time. Display does not show time elapsed or remaining.

Costco version is bulkier but has manual mode and will seemingly squeeze the life out of your legs at the highest settings. It has a countdown timer which you can extend. Yes, it's pricier (usually goes on sale and clearance) but pump is bigger as is the boot, so it takes longer to inflate. It also needs longer time to deflate. It's also better suited for average to larger legs. I have rather large legs and they will fit easily. The cincoms will fit but just a tad bit snug.

At a discount for either one, you really can't go wrong. Both Amazon and Costco have easy return policies in case one doesn't meet expectations. If you're on your feet all day, I'd recommend the half leg. If you run marathons or weight training, go full leg.

Pity about the part with no heat, but otherwise a good deal.
