Good deal! Although it may not be usable in a college dorm. Many dorms allow no more than 700 watts so double check your dorm rules before purchasing 😊 (then again, who knows if they actually check everyone's microwaves wattage)

Really? I've never heard that.

Do they ban hair dryers too? I think most of those are over 700W (most ≠ all).

I didn't see anything about hairdryers but for some reason NAU specifically has a microwave wattage restriction 🤷

I got a 900W Hamilton Beach from Walmart on clearance for $25 lol, otherwise I would be all over this one right now.

This was a rule back when I was in Uni. But they never checked so I got away with a 1000w. Probably depends on the RA. I only talked to mine once or twice throughout the entire year.

I bought the 700W model 2 years ago. No issues so far.

* Apparently made by Whirlpool based on the model #.

Most microwave are build by a few companies. They slapped brand names. The positions of the buttons are of the same components. Most recipes are in 1000W. You do not need to do conversion unlike 700W etc.

I have this exact model. Had it for about 1 1/2 years (Dec 24) and still working fine. The start button is showing a little wear but for the price I am happy. Paid $51.24 including tax.

Edit: Probably gets used at least 2 times a day.
