This Intex pool cover is being used as a low cost tarp for pool winterizing and other outdoor jobs, with the main appeal being the price and decent build for the money. It is described as better quality than typical covers, and the drain holes are visible in customer photos and the listing description. The cover may need some water in the pool to stay put, and heavy wind, storms, or snow can lift sections. The seller also cancelled an order, so fulfillment may be a concern.
The cover can be better quality than typical pool covers for the money.
The cover can help keep a pool covered during winterizing when snow load is manageable.
The cover can be used as a tarp to keep wood chip mulch mostly dry.
The low price can make it practical to buy multiple covers for short cover lifespans.
Drain holes distributed around the cover and in the middle can be problematic for pool coverage.
Storms or snow can cause a section to ride up and open the pool.
Heavy snow conditions can make winterizing with this cover impractical.
The seller can cancel orders, which can create a risk of not receiving the item.
