"...fan running, it's not distracting once a movie starts playing."
"...fan doesn't distract from the movie experience."
I found some videos of it, but on them the blower motor is a seperate unit on the outside and the one in the photos show it on the "inside" of the screen so it might be a smaller motor - not sure. Here's a video but my guess is it would be more quiet in person. It probably is just a white noise. https://youtu.be/DZn4RedEfE0?si=j...JytF&t=384
This 14 foot inflatable movie screen is aimed at casual backyard and pool movie nights, especially with a basic projector. The 168 inch diagonal is described as plenty large for typical family use, and the blower noise is said to fade into white noise once the movie starts. The main cautions are size confusion, since the actual viewing area is closer to 114 inches or about 8 by 4 feet, and the fan sits inside with power running to it, so it should not be used in a pool. A practical option if you want a simple outdoor setup without chasing a giant screen.
Families using a basic projector for backyard movie nights, because the 114-inch screen is large enough for typical outdoor viewing and the fan noise fades into the movie.
The actual viewing area is about 8.3 x 4.4 ft, or roughly 114 inches, rather than a full 14-foot-wide image. The 168-inch figure refers to the diagonal, so it is still large for backyard or kid movie nights but smaller than the headline can imply.
Yes, it can be a good match for many $100-class projectors and typical family backyard use. Larger screens can push projector brightness and image quality harder, so this size is often the practical sweet spot for pool nights or football season.
The blower is noticeable at startup, but it reportedly fades into background white noise once the movie begins. The motor may be an internal unit rather than the external blower shown in some videos, which could affect how loud it seems in person.
8x4 is roughly a 115" TV. OMG....That's so small I wouldn't even put that in my kid's treehouse's guest 1/2 bath. What are we...poor?!?*FWIW, it is actually 8.3 x 4.4 (so more like 8' 4" x 4' 5"). Plenty bigger than the largest TV either of us have ever seen.....
When you are talking about diagonals, nearly half a foot in both measurements (literally) adds up.
And yes, it is sMaLl projector screen if you are doing outdoor movie nights your entire mega church's congregation. Most people (like someone else alluded to) aren't projecting to that levels nor could most budget projectors handle that. We also aren't dragging out multi thousand dollar projectors into the grass (not to mention taking them down from our IMAX home theater setup) An 8 foot tall screen...approximately is still massive for your average kid's movie night.
But you do you

The blower fan reportedly becomes less distracting once the movie starts playing.
The 14-ft inflatable screen can be a practical match for budget projectors used for family outdoor movie nights.
The 168-inch diagonal size may be sufficient for many setups when paired with appropriate projector brightness.
The inflatable format may be easier to deploy for casual outdoor viewing than larger fixed screens.
The screen size is reportedly only about 8' x 4', which may feel too small for some expectations.
The advertised 168-inch diagonal may be inaccurate, with some photos suggesting an actual size closer to about 114 inches.
The inflatable screen should not be used in a pool because the fan is inside and requires power.
Projector brightness limits can make larger screen sizes harder to light well, which may affect image quality.

Many sketchy projectors you find online advertise themselves as 4K when they only "support" 4K but the actual resolution is 480p or 720p.
