Trailer looks really cool. I couldn't help but notice the game really looked like a prime microtransaction fest, but then the trailer said there are "zero microtransactions". Interesting, I thought, that a trailer would go out of its way to say that. Reading the mixed reviews, I saw some negative marks on microtransactions. Interest peaked, a cursory Google search found that apparently the game had been through a bit of drama, and what was once a f2p game loaded with microtransactions, has undergone a complete shift, and now has everything unlockable in-game.

Lol damn I paid like $25 for this back in the day. Was so not worth it. Worth the price here tho!
I highly disliked the gearing system. Combat is decent fun. Much better with friends or strangers.

I 100% recommend picking this up, especially at this price. I initially bought it when I was looking for a game for the kids to try out and I ended up liking it much more than expected. I've been playing it on my steam deck during my commute and have been having a blast. It's a fun hack and slash game with adjustable difficulty that be played with others online or solo (and offline!). A lot of the negative reviews came from when this game was supposed to be an MMO-lite but then when their publisher unexpectedly closed up, they updated the game to a much more flexible dungeon crawler.

Needs to go on a deep sale for Xbox. I believe that you can do LAN multi-player with this game from PC to XBox and want to give it a shot with my son.
