These enameled cast iron pieces are made in China. Not that that makes them bad, as for Lodge's standard line of enameled cast iron, the enameling is done in China and those hold up well. But generally, the $630 price is what you would expect to pay for something made in France or in the USA.
Purely going by price, this roughly in line (or maybe a little cheaper) with Lodge's standard enameled cast iron, but I don't know if it's as good quality wise.
