They are pretty big and heavy, great for the home (can double as self defense weapon probably with that weight) or vehicle, not best for carrying around too much like hiking.Just picked one up at my local Costco. They also had a 10,000L power version. That one was even bigger.

The post says "Use the Costco app to check your local warehouse for availability and price."

Does the app show the warehouse price? I am only seeing warehouse price may differ. I am seeing $49 in the app and web site.

On the app you need to go to the "warehouse" icon on the bottom (this is for iOS app), then "search warehouse inventory" search bar.

In the context of this product's description, what is a "heat lock"?

Not 100% sure but I own this flashlight and it will turn itself off if it starts to heat up and it won't turn back on unless you wait for it to cool a bit

Have this and agree with the other comments about size and weight. Things a chonker.

It also has a sensor in/near the lens that will dim the light if you get within like 6 inches of something. I think it's to prevent burns, but there have definitely been times I wanted to have it that close to see small details of something to only have it dim on me unexpectedly.

Still an overall good flashlight, especially for this price, just has some quirks.

I have it. My biggest complaint is that the throw area is huge! You can focus is down. But it is still a massive area of light. Makes it difficult to light something brightly or to keep the beam narrow when camping or times you don't want to light up the whole area.

I was about to post this, and due to wide spread it defeats the purpose of carrying such a big light if you can't focus on something in distance for such a large body, I'd expect more lens travel to achieve tighter focus.
It's also not as bright as some of my smaller lights possibly again due to wide spread. The button placement is kinda annoying. Worth for batteries and flashlight body alone honestly.
