This is the plus model, so it puts out video via USB-C, has another port to charge so it's basically a dock and also supports Rayneo glasses

It works with XR glasses while charging. When the switch is charging and detects a video out destination, it switches to dock mode. (I own this and rayneo glasses)

Okay that's great then. Everything else I was looking up seemed to indicate a different protocol. So was getting confused.
