Not AirPrint compatible. iPhone printing requires the FlashLabel Pro app over Bluetooth; the app is rated 4.8/5 with 10K ratings. Mac requires USB.

I needed one and this seems like an ok deal. Any idea what labels I should get in bulk? Roll? Fanfold?

Not the Jaden brand i was in the market for....but for less than half the price of Jaden's plus reviews about as good, I say it's worth a try. Can always return within a month if it sucks. Thanks OP.

I actually bought the Jaden's branded thermal printer recently and thinking about returning it for this one since its much cheaper. The reviews are about the same but I guess the Jaden's is much more established considering the amount of reviews. Decisions Confused

The reviews shows the font isn't very good so probably not good for printing shipping labels. The edges aren't clean on barcodes from what I can see

If you have a UPS account you can get 4x6 labels for free [ups.com]. Careful not to abuse this though as UPS CS will call you and ask why you want so many supplies and to justify your request if you order too much; don't ask me how I know this laugh out loud

However, the free UPS labels come in large rolls and I'm not sure they would be compatible with the printer mentioned in this deal without jury-rigging or purchasing some sort of spool that will support the roll as it's fed in the printer.

I got lucky and found a Bizpal DTP-1000 Direct Thermal Printer [amazon.de] for $30 around 5 years ago and use Seagull's 4barecode drivers [bartendersoftware.com] for it and works great with the free UPS labels.

The Bizpal DTP-1000 is a generic clone of the legendary Zebra LP 2844 [zebra.com]; perhaps the most reliable and well built 4x6 thermal printer ever made. It might still be possible to buy a decently priced Zebra LP 2844 used on ebay but I haven't checked its availbality in years since I found Bizpal DTP-1000. I woulld rather have a used Zebra LP 2844 than the new printer posted on this thread though...

Can this be used to print other things? Such as a grocery list or a list of addresses?
