Just pure ignorance. This is probably closer to A+ than your supposed D. Made by Delta, you know the largest PSU makers for server running hundreds of thousands of dollars per rack.

ATX 3.1 specs, with HP 10 year warranty, Cybernetics Platinum, Cybernetics A+ noise measurement, Fluid Dynamics Fan, Japanese caps, has everything good check boxed.

Plenty of good 1200 watt PSUs that are even smaller than this one, including SFX-L PSUs. Never going past 40% is just dumb and stupid. A smart gamer buys for what their computer can pull at peak load, and that will be sufficient for how most gamers use their computers.

The actual rule of thumb is 60% peak, 85% transient.

By that logic if my 5090 PC was running 700w sustained, I would need 700 / 0.4 = 1750w PSU?



Or do it your way, 1200w * 0.4 is 480w. That's a pretty weak gaming system if cpu and GPU pulls 480w total.

This is a good deal for a 1000W 80+ Gold PSU. Though 1000W HP OMEN has never been tested (no surprise!), the rebadged HyperX PS-4102-2 1000W has: https://www.cybenetics.com/ISO17025/psus/2528/

10yr limited warranty, all 105°C Japanese Caps, quiet.

Its made by Lite-On not Delta and even if it was Delta has made tons of low quality oem consumer grade psu's over the years. Just because they make high end commercial grade server stuff doesnt mean the all regular consumer stuff is good.

Also incorrect. Minimum is 100% peak, ATX 3.1 if running newer GPUs with high transients.

My 8 year old 1000w PSU could not handle my 3080ti's transients at stock while a newer ATX 3.0 850w PSU handles it overclocked. Purchasing bigger certainly didn't help when new GPUs demanded a design change.
