Krispy Kreme's glazed dozen deals are mainly about getting a steep discount on a pricey regular dozen, especially when paired with any cheap purchase. The app and mailers can surface better offers than the menu board, including occasional single dozen pricing and free doughnut promos, while local regular prices often run around $19 to $22 before tax. The catch is that these promos are often structured around buying two dozens or another item, which can be too much for one household and leaves leftovers to go stale. Freshness matters here, though microwaving one for a few seconds helps.
Common Questions (5)
Reported prices vary by area, with examples of $15.99 in the app, $18.99 before tax, and about $21.99 to $22 for a dozen in some locations. That makes the deal much more attractive in higher-price markets.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made daily, and leftovers are reportedly discarded at the end of the day, so same-day purchases are the freshest. If you buy two dozens, the second dozen can become day-old unless you eat them quickly.
Eat them the same day if possible, or reheat one in the microwave for about 8 seconds to restore the texture. Storing them too long can make them harden.
Yes. The promotion is a dozen with any purchase, so the $0.89 price is added on top of a regular-priced dozen rather than buying a standalone dozen for 89 cents.
Yes. The deal works with any purchase, and one shopper used the cheapest item on the menu to qualify for the discounted dozen.

For an $8 dozen you're looking to go back in time to about 2016.

What if the deal was bogo and each dozen was $15.98?
Dozen glazed at regular price in my area is $15.99, $7.25/hr state
Actually, a dozen today on that wage would not be unheard of to cost minimum, $10.875 for a dozen.
There is another deal in the app,
